visThank you to all who attended the kick-off meeting and site walk for the Town Visioning and Implementation Plan on December 14th from 10 am to noon.  Over twenty-one people participated in the first kick-off meeting.  The steering committee will be meeting over the next nine month.  Its purpose is to work with the Town Planner on developing a plan for economic growth for Boyertown that we will use as a road map for the next 5 to 10 years.   It is a very fast track Town Visioning process however we are excited to reach the implementation phase where strategic goals can be realized for Boyertown.  The next 2 months are the listening stages so this is where your input, participation and recommendations are needed. What would make Boyertown better over the next five years? We want to hear from property owners, residents, locals, realtors, visitors, various groups and everyone who has an interest in the future of Boyertown.

Please contact the BBB office to be included in the next meeting. Please send messages to Boyertown, PA – Main Street Revitalization facebook page or email manager@boyertownpa.org.  Stop in the BBB office and tell us your recommendations.  Check http://boyertownpa.org/ for recent updates and ways to participate.

This grant was made possible through the BB&T economic growth fund through the Berks County Community Foundation.  Be a part of this once in a life time opportunity to develop a road map for Boyertown and let the Visioning begin!
