On Thursday, May 8, 2014, as many as 70 volunteers will rally at 9:00 AM in Boyertown, PA to roll up their sleeves and get to work. Building a Better Boyertown anticipates working with 10 of the Keller Williams Realty Group – Limerick volunteers.  Five of these will strive to accomplish much needed work in the office such as painting.   Five others will support ongoing downtown beautification efforts to maintain the business district walkways, weatherproofing of benches and sweeping the bricks in the main street.   All other volunteers will offer their support to the following organizations in Boyertown:

  • Daniel B. Boyer Center YMCA
  • Boyertown Area Multi-Service, Inc.
  • Boyertown Rotary Club
  • Boyertown Lions Club
  • Colebrookdale Railroad Preservation Trust
  • Borough of Boyertown

“It is a beautiful thing that not only do our own residents care about Boyertown, but so do those who reside in surrounding areas. We appreciate the efforts of all of the volunteers who are willing to work to better our community,” says Mayor Marianne Deery.

WHAT IS RED DAY?
Introduced in 2009, RED Day, which stands for Renew, Energize and Donate, is Keller Williams Realty Group-Limerick’s annual day of service. Each year on the second Thursday of May, associates spend the day away from their businesses serving worthy organizations and causes in their communities.
