We started off 2012 with a launch of our new website!  We now have social media capabililies, posting opportunities and an awesome interactive calendar thanks to the creative engines of Blazing Systems and Word Press.  Word Press is a dependable website  framework partly because it’s built on stable, proven, pervasive technologies, including MYSQL and PHP.  Blazing System’s deploys it as a LAMP (Linux, Apache, MYSqL., and PHP), for all you tech geeks our there.   As  you will see when you peruse the site, the framework produces appealing and effective venues that are easy to understand and navigate, and they are also highly functional with robust applications.  Word Press is an Open Source, and over 17,000 applications have been developed for it.  We invite your feedback so make sure to comment below.

Project speared by Nathaniel Guest, historic lawyer dedicated to the passenger rail connection between Pottstown and Boyertown. The next initiative meeting will be scheduled in February and is to be hosted at the Boyertown Museum of Historic Vehicles.

Miss Rush hails from New Hope, Pennsylvania and moved to New York City after graduating high school to pursue her dream of being a musician. She has played all across the country and plays regularly in New York at legendary venues such as The Bitter End and The Shrine. She is playing the Hard Bean Café on January 6, 2012. The concert is free to all high school students with a valid ID. There are three sets starting at 8pm, 9pm, and 10pm respectively. Local artist and Boyertown grad Johnny Hazel, along with local songwriter Mike Holliday will both be opening for Miss Rush.

There is a Round Table Discussion with all three of the artists before the concert, beginning at 7pm. All events are being held at The Hard Bean Café in Boyertown on January 6, 2012. The new organization, “The Opera House Concert and Master-Class Series” is producing the concert and Round Table Discussion. “The Opera House Series” strives to provide quality music performances and educational opportunities to the students and citizens of Boyertown and the surrounding area.
