Welcome to Building a Better Boyertown

Building a Better Boyertown (BBB) is a non-profit organization formed in 2002. Boyertown, PA is a Main Street Community, received funding from the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development and private donors to focus on downtown revitalization.

BBB staff and volunteers develop and accomplish tasks that maintain Boyertown’s historical heritage, promote downtown Boyertown and attract people to the community. They concentrate on business recruitment and retention and on providing technical assistance and grant opportunities for property and business owners in the Main Street District to make facade improvements enhancing the town's Victorian architecture.

Overall, Boyertown's approach to revitalization is comprehensive in nature. We are always looking for fresh faces and ideas to help us achieve our goals. Come join us, and the fun!

BBBlogoTo all of our Boyertown businesses and residents, we are very pleased to announce the creation of, in affiliation with Building a Better Boyertown, “The Boyertown Merchants Association”. This organization in cooperation with the BBB will be focused on the enhanced visibility, promotion and support of all local member businesses. Our inaugural project is the creation of a map of the area that highlights the merchants and attractions of Boyertown. Our target audience will be the casual visitor, area residents, as well as the serious regional tourist market. The first phase of our efforts will be the gathering of lists of participants who, as members of B.B.B. would like to participate in this marketing campaign.  Those interested should contact Rachel Kehler at the Peppermint Stick Candy Store, peppermintcandystore@gmail.com

May 9th, 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. – Come out and join Building A Better Boyertown and the Borough with a Community clean-up after a long winter. Volunteers are wanted to help with sweeping, trash removal, mulching, and planting in the Borough and along the main cleanupstreets.  Download the Flyer
